Abstract:
Magistrsko delo prikazuje problematiko varstva okolja na različnih ravneh, evropsko okoljsko zakonodajo in težnje ter predpise za preprečevanje industrijskega obremenjevanja v povezavi s slovensko zakonodajo. Podjetja, ki želijo preživeti v izredno konkurenčnem okolju, morajo upoštevati zahteve potrošnikov po višji kakovosti izdelkov in storitev, skladnih z družbenimi in ekološkimi standardi, hkrati pa z nižjimi snovmi in energetskimi vložki pa tudi ekološkimi outputi. Tako podjetja iščejo nove in izvirnejše načine, s katerimi uporabljajo ekološko naravnanost, visoke etične standarde in ekološki menedžment kot vir za krepitev svojega ugleda in s tem tudi konkurenčne prednosti in finančne uspešnosti. Magistrsko delo prikazuje stanje na področju varovanja okolja z vidika skupine Bosch, s poudarkom na podjetju Bosch Rexroth, Slovenija (INDRAMAT elektromotorji d.o.o.), ter predlagan model, ki bo podjetjem omogočal uspešnejše delovanje na področju varovanja okolja. Rezultate, ki jih prinese redna uporaba modela, bodo podjetja lahko izkoristila kot svojo prednost na svetovnem trgu.

THE IMPROVEMENT MODEL OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES
Abstract:
This master’s thesis outlines the topic of environmental protection on different levels, the European environmental legislation, as well as the tendencies and regulations as to the prevention of industrial pollution regarding the Slovenian legislation. The companies facing a particularly high competition need to meet the consumers’ demands for better quality and improved efficiency of their products which have to be in accordance with the social and environmental standards and at the same time with a lower input of material and energy as well as with lower emission. Therefore companies are searching for new and innovative methods using environmental orientation, high ethical standards and environmental management in order to add to their reputation and thereby to achieve competitive advantages and better trading results. This master’s thesis describes the situation in the sector of environmental protection with regard to the Bosch Group, emphasising the company Bosch Rexroth, Slovenia (INDRAMAT elektromotorji d.o.o). Furthermore, it suggests a concept that will enable companies to be successful in the field of environmental protection. A continuous pursuance of this concept will result in advantages for the companies which can be useful on the global market.
