Title:POMOLOŠKO VREDNOTENJE NOVIH SORT ČEŠENJ

Abstract:Na Univerzitetnem kmetijskem centru Pohorski dvor na Fakulteti za kmetijstvo in biosistemske vede v Mariboru smo v okviru projekta Alpe-Adria proucevali sorte cešenj Regina, Kordia, Sunburst, Summit, Giorgia in Celeste, cepljene na podlago Gisela 5. Posajene so bile leta 2002. Razdalje sajenja so bile 4 x 3 m. V letih 2005 in 2006 smo spremljali vegetativne in generativne kazalce razvoja. Iz rezultatov je razvidno, da obsegi debel ne kažejo velike povezanosti z volumnom krošnje. Obseg debla se je najmanj povecal pri sorti Regina, medtem ko je sorta Celeste dosegla najmanjši volumen krošnje. Masa plodov je v tesni povezavi z volumnom krošnje. Cim vecji je volumen krošnje pri mladih drevesih, tem vecji je pridelek. Kolicina pridelka vpliva na velikost plodov. Pri sortah Kordia in Giorgia se je vecji pridelek v letu 2006 izrazil v drobnejših plodovih. Le pri sorti Sunburst smo v tem letu dobili primerno debelino plodov.

Title:Pomological evaluation of new varieties of cherries
Abstract:Within the frame of the Alpe-Adria project, at the Maribor University Agricultural Centre »Pohorski dvor« we investigated Regina, Kordia, Sunburst, Summit, Giorgia and Celeste cultivars of cherries grafted on Gisela 5 rootstock. They were planted in 2002 at 4 x 3 m distance. In years 2005 and 2006 we monitored vegetative and generative parameters of their growth. The results show that there is no strong correlation between trunk deiameters and crown volumes. The trunk diameters increased the least in cv. Regina, while cv. Celeste achieved the smallest crown volume. Fruit weight is in strong correlation with crown volumes – the larger the crown volumes of young trees, the larger the crop. Also the yield quantity affected the size of fruit. In cv. Kordia and Giorgia the higher yield in the year 2006 resulted in smaller fruits. Only in cv. Sunburst the fruits achieved an appropriate thickness.
