Title:Sistem zaščite pred direktnim udarom strele v RTP

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava zaščito pred direktnimi udari strele v RTP Lipa z uporabo ameriškega standarda IEEE Std 80-2013, ki obravnava varne razmere s stališča pred udarom električnega toka v elektroenergetskih objektih in Tehnično smernico TSG-N-003:2021., ki obravnava zaščito pred udarom strele v Sloveniji. Opisan je nastanek atmosferskih razelektritev, njihov vpliv na elektroenergetsko infrastrukturo ter metode zaščite (LPS, LEMP, metoda kotaleče krogle, zaščitni koti, metoda zaščitne mreže). V praktičnem delu je izvedena analiza zaščitnega območja RTP Lipa, izračun napetosti koraka in dotika ter optimizacija ozemljilne mreže. Rezultati kažejo, da pravilna izbira zaščitnih ukrepov in optimizacija ozemljil bistveno izboljšata varnost v RTP pri udaru strele ter zmanjšata tveganje poškodb in opreme.

Title:System for protection against direct lightning strike in distribution transformer substation
Abstract:The thesis addresses protection against direct lightning strikes at RTP Lipa using the American standard IEEE Std 80-2013, which deals with safe conditions regarding electric shock in power facilities, and the Technical Guideline TSG-N-003:2021, which covers lightning protection in Slovenia. It describes the formation of atmospheric discharges, their impact on power infrastructure, and protection methods (LPS, LEMP, rolling sphere method, protective angles, and protective mesh method). The practical part includes an analysis of the protection zone at RTP Lipa, calculation of step and touch voltages, and optimization of the grounding grid. The results show that the proper selection of protective measures and optimization of grounding significantly improve safety at RTP in the event of a lightning strike and reduce the risk of injuries and equipment damage.
