Title:Preventivno delovanje šolske svetovalne službe pri učencih z učnimi težavami

Abstract:Učne težave, s katerimi se sooča vse več sodobnih šol, predstavljajo zelo trdovraten in kompleksen problem z zaskrbljujočimi oblikami in razsežnostmi. Pri premagovanju tovrstnega problema igra med drugimi pomembno vlogo tudi šolska svetovalna služba. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge sem najprej opredelila šolsko svetovalno službo, njene osnovne vrste dejavnosti, s poudarkom na razvojno-preventivni dejavnosti in temeljnih načelih, ki jih šolska svetovalna služba pri delu mora upoštevati. V nadaljevanju sem pozornost namenila učnim težavam, njihovi opredelitvi in razvrščanju ter prepoznavanju in oblikam pomoči učencem z učnimi težavami. V empiričnem delu sem se posvetila preučevanju razvojno-preventivne dejavnosti šolskih svetovalnih služb na področju učne problematike. Zanimala me je sama razširjenost in vzroki za pojav učnih težav pri učencih; odkrivanje in prepoznavanje učencev z učnimi težavami; oblike pomoči, ki jih nudi šolska svetovalna služba učencem z učnimi težavami in učiteljem, ki z njimi delajo; sodelovanje v projektu pomoči; mnenje šolske svetovalne službe o strokovni usposobljenosti učiteljev za delo z učenci z učnimi težavami; kakšne oblike pomoči in izpopolnjevanja nudi šolska svetovalna služba učiteljem za uspešnejše delo z učenci z učnimi težavami in pa tudi ovire in težave, s katerimi se srečujejo pri delu z učenci z učnimi težavami.

Title:School counselor`s preventive work with students who have learning problems
Abstract:Many modern schools are facing learning problems which present a very extensive, obstinate, and complex problem in increasingly disturbing dimensions. In overcoming such problems the school counselor, among others, plays a very important role. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I defined the term school counselor, his/her basic types of activities with the emphasis on developmental and preventive work and fundamental principles, which the school counselor has to take into consideration. Furthermore, I focused my attention one learning problems, their definition, and classification as well as the recognition of problems and ways of helping those with such problems. In the empirical part I focused on the research of developmental and preventive work carried out by the school counselor in the area of learning problems. I was interested in the cause and the range of the learning problemsʹ phenomena; the discovery and identification of learners with learning problems; forms of help that the school counselor provides to students with learning problems and teachers who work with them; participation in the projects providing help; the opinion of the school counselor on the qualification of teachers who work with students with learning problems; what kind of help and improvement does a school counselor provide to teachers for a more efficient work with students that have learning problems as well as obstacles and difficulties, which they encounter in their work with students that have problems with learning.
