Abstract:Eden izmed produktov obdelave odpadkov je gorivo iz odpadkov (RDF) z visoko kurilno vrednostjo. Kljub visokemu energetskemu potencialu ni pogosto izkoriščen, najpogosteje se ga uporablja za sosežiganje v cementarnah ali toplarnah, lahko se ga predela tudi s pirolizo. V magistrski nalogi je opisana raziskava možne uporabnosti RDF z primešanimi različnimi deleži plastike (HDPE). Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da imajo tako pridobljena pirolizna olja, visok energetski potencial in jih je mogoče uporabiti v več različnih aplikacijah, ne le v procesu sežiganja. S tem bi lahko zmanjšali odvisnost od tujih sežigalnic in omogočili učinkovitejšo, okolju prijaznejšo rabo odpadkov.

Title:Thermal pyrolysis of refuse-derived fuel (rdf) with varying plastic content
Abstract:One of the by-products of waste treatment is refuse-derived fuel (RDF), which has a high calorific value. Despite its significant energy potential, it is often underutilised, most commonly being co-processed in cement kilns or heating plants. Another processing method is pyrolysis. This master’s thesis explores the potential use of RDF mixed with various ratios of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The results show that the pyrolysis oils obtained this way have a high energy potential and can be used in various applications, not just for incineration. This could reduce our dependence on foreign incinerators and enable a more efficient, environmentally friendly use of waste.
