Title:Business sustainability in the company Scania Slovenia d. o. o.
Abstract:This paper focuses on sustainable development and the greening of business operations of the Scania Slovenija company. As part of the research, we conducted a detailed analysis of the company's key business processes, identifying opportunities and putting forward suggestions for improvement that would contribute to greater sustainability efficiency, better business performance, and lower costs. The research included an analysis of electricity consumption, company vehicles, waste management, and the sustainability culture among employees. Proposed solutions included the installation of solar power plants, the use of energy storage systems, a transition to electric vehicles, and an improved waste separation system. By conducting a survey, we examined how employees accept, participate in, and interpret sustainable development, and based on the results, appropriate findings and recommendations for further actions were formulated. The main goal of the paper was to analyse, determine and put forward suggestions on how the implementation of sustainable solutions can contribute to optimizing business operations, reducing operational costs, improving environmental impact, and promoting long-term sustainable growth.
