Osrednji del naloge je posvečen tehničnim vidikom električnih pogonskih sistemov, vključno z baterijskimi sistemi, električnimi motorji, pretvorniki močnostne elektronike in vrstami menjalnikov. Predstavljene so različne vrste baterij, kot so litij-ionske baterije, in različni tipi motorjev, kot so sinhronski in asinhronski motorji ter elektronsko komutirani reluktančni stroji. Poleg tega naloga predstavi infrastrukturo za polnjenje električnih vozil, vključno z različnimi vrstami priključkov in standardi polnjenja. Na koncu naloga poudari trenutne trende in prihodnje smeri razvoja e-mobilnosti, s poudarkom na izboljšanju učinkovitosti, trajnosti in širši uporabi električnih vozil. Skupaj naloga ponuja vpogled v kompleksnost in potencial električnih pogonskih sistemov za trajnostni razvoj prometnega sektorja.

Title:Overview of drive systems in electric passenger vehicles
Abstract:The thesis titled "Overview of Drive Systems in Electric Passenger Vehicles" provides a review of electric drive systems used in modern electric cars. The introduction addresses the growing environmental challenges and the need for sustainable solutions in transportation. It examines the historical development of electric vehicles, from their beginnings to today’s rapid advancements, highlighting key benefits and challenges faced by these vehicles. The core of the thesis focuses on the technical aspects of electric drive systems, including battery systems, electric motors, power electronics converters, and types of transmissions. Various types of batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries, and motor types, including synchronous and asynchronous motors as well as electronically commutated reluctance machines, are presented in detail. Additionally, the thesis presents the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, including different types of connectors and charging standards. In conclusion, the thesis emphasizes current trends and future directions in e-mobility development, with a focus on improving efficiency, sustainability, and the broader adoption of electric vehicles. Overall, the thesis offers an insight into the complexity and potential of electric drive systems for the sustainable development of the transportation sector.
