Title:Industrijski turizem v Indiji po COVID-19
Abstract:Industrial tourism often refers to the visits to industrial facilities or locations. The industrial tourism industry in India is a niche segment of the overall tourism market. The thesis attempted to explore the state of industrial tourism in India before and after COVID-19. Since industrial tourism in India primarily focuses on education rather than leisure, students are the primary target market for all of these industries. During COVID-19, India's industrial tourism sector was forced to shut down completely along with all other tourism-related businesses, which led to losses and travel restrictions that prevented any tourists from visiting. However, a couple of industries decided to be innovative and changed their business model to offer a virtual reality experience, online workshops and video tours, which turned out to be a success. The study included all the impacts of COVID-19 on industrial tourism and set forth some ideas should some other health crisis happen again
Keywords:: industrial tourism, COVID-19, health crisis, safety protocols, virtual reality
