Metode: Izvedli smo pregled, analizo in sintezo literature. Iskanje je bilo opravljeno v podatkovnih bazah CINAHL Ultimate, PubMed, Sage, Science Direct in Wiley. Podatke smo zbrali in s pomočjo vsebinske analize sintetizirali.

Title:The impact of bullying among healthcare workers on the quality of care
Abstract:Introduction: Bullying should not occur in a profession dedicated to care and compassion, but most nurses have experienced it at least once in their careers. In some work environments, bullying between nurses and healthcare professionals is still the norm and not something to be resisted. Our thesis aims to find out how bullying among healthcare professionals affects the quality of patient care. Methods: We have reviewed, analysed and synthesised the literature. The databases we searched were CINAHL Ultimate, PubMed, Sage, Science Direct and Wiley. The data was collected and synthesised through content analysis. Results: In the final analysis, we included six articles that matched our search and answered our research question. The consequences of bullying among health professionals have been found to prevent collaboration, discussion, teamwork and sharing of information, and it has a negative impact on patient care and dynamics such as medical errors, safety risks and the occurrence of adverse events. Discussion and conclusion: Bullying has a negative impact on job performance, job satisfaction and turnover. It is essential to introduce systemic changes in the healthcare organisation and ensure zero tolerance to bullying to improve the quality of patient care.
