Title:Preračun območja delovanja mehanskih hladilnih stolpov za jek2 : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava izračun hladilnih stolpov na mehanski vlek za drugi blok jedrske elektrarne Krško. V jedrski elektrarni se toplota iz reaktorja preko uparjalnika prenese v sekundarni krog, kjer para poganja turbino za proizvodnjo električne energije. Neizkoriščena toplota se odvaja skozi kondenzator s pomočjo hladilne vode, ki se nato vrne v sistem preko hladilnega stolpa. Naloga se osredotoča na izračun hladilnega stolpa s protitočnim induciranim vlekom, s pomočjo Merklove metode in Chebyshejeve integracije. Program v jeziku Python omogoča simulacijo različnih obratovalnih pogojev ter analizo ključnih parametrov delovanja hladilnega sistema. Rezultati analize so pokazali, kako se z višanjem temperature in relativne vlažnosti zraka zmanjša odvedena toplota in poveča temperatura vode na izstopu iz hladilnega stolpa, kar zmanjšuje učinkovitost hlajenja. Evaporacijska izguba, odvisna od relativne vlažnosti, dodatno omejuje hlajenje pri višjih vlažnostih.

Title:Calculation of the operating range of mechanical cooling towers for jek2
Abstract:This thesis addresses the calculation of mechanical draft cooling towers for the new unit of the Krško nuclear power plant. In a nuclear power plant, heat from the reactor is transferred through a steam generator to the secondary circuit, where steam drives a turbine to generate electricity. The unused heat is removed via a condenser with the help of cooling water, which is then returned to the system through the cooling tower. The thesis focuses on calculating a counterflow induced draft cooling tower using the Merkel method and Chebyshev integration. A Python program is used to simulate various operating conditions and analyze key parameters of the cooling system's performance. The analysis results showed that as air temperature and relative humidity increase, the heat dissipation decreases and the water temperature at the cooling tower outlet rises, reducing cooling efficiency. Evaporative loss, which depends on relative humidity, further limits cooling at higher humidity levels.
