Abstract:Uvod: Kronične nenalezljive bolezni predstavljajo veliko breme sodobnega sveta, zato je pomembno delovanje v korist posameznika in lajšanje njegovih simptomov. Namen vnaprej pripravljenega načrta paliativne oskrbe zagotavlja posameznikom celovito in usklajeno oskrbo v zadnjih fazah njihovega življenja. Potek iskanja in pregleda smo prikazali s pomočjo diagrama PRISMA, identificirane raziskave smo prikazali v tabeli sinteze, hkrati pa izvedli vsebinsko analizo. Rezultati: Izmed 896 identificiranih zadetkov smo jih v vsebinsko analizo vključili 10.

Title:Experience of patients with chronic non-communicable disease with an advanced plan for palliative care
Abstract:Introduction: Chronic non-communicable diseases are a major burden in the modern world, and it is becoming important to work on behalf of individuals and alleviate their symptoms. The purpose of an advance palliative care plan is to provide comprehensive and co-ordinated care for people in the last phase of their lives. The aim of this paper is to explore the experience of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases with an advanced palliative care plan. Methods: We conducted a systematic literature review using methods of description, compilation, analysis, and synthesis. We used a search term to search the literature. We searched the international electronic databases CINAHL, PubMed and ScienceDirect. The search and review process were illustrated using a PRISMA diagram, the identified studies were presented in a synthesis table and performed a content analysis. Results: Of the 896 records identified, we included 10 in our review. Based on the analysis, we identified six major subcategories: 1) Benefits of anticipatory palliative care planning; 2) Impact on quality of care and health outcomes; 3) Emotional and psychological benefits; 4) Patient autonomy; 5) Communication and decision making; and 6) Barriers to effective implementation of anticipatory palliative care planning, which we have organised into a main category called "Patient experience of anticipatory palliative care planning in a chronic non-communicable disease". Discussion and conclusion: We recognised the benefits and advantages associated with having a palliative care plan, and reasons for disinterest in participating in a palliative care plan.
