Title:Vpliv redčenja poganjkov na število in velikost plodov jagod pri sorti 'clery' v drugem letniku : diplomsko delo

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo proučevali vpliv različnega časa redčenja poganjkov jagod v drugem letu pridelave na količino in kakovost pridelka. Poskus smo izvajali v letih 2015 in 2016 v proizvodnem nasadu jagod sorte 'Clery' v Zrkovcih v bližini Maribora. Redčenje poganjkov smo izvedli v petih različnih terminih od 17. julija do 31. septembra 2015; v poskus smo vključili tudi kontrolno obravnavanje, v katerem redčenja poganjkov nismo izvajali. Ugotovili smo, da čim kasneje opravimo redčenje poganjkov v poletno-jesenskem času, tem manjše število poganjkov se razvije do zaključka vegetacije. S poznejšim redčenjem poganjkov vplivamo tudi na manjše število plodov in manjši skupni pridelek jagod na rastlino. Čas redčenja poganjkov pa v našem poskusu ni imel vpliva na povprečno maso posameznega ploda.

Title:Influence of shoot thinning on strawberry fruit number and size in the cultivar 'clery' in the second year
Abstract:In the presented thesis, the influence of different times of shoot thinning in the second year of cultivation on the quantity and quality of a strawberry yield was examined. The experiment was conducted in the years 2015 and 2016 in a strawberry production orchard of the 'Clery' variety in Zrkovci near Maribor. Shoot thinning was performed at five different intervals from July 17th to September 31st, 2015. A control group was also included where shoot thinning was not conducted. It was found that the later during the summer-fall period shoot thinning is performed, the fewer shoots develop by the end of the vegetation period. Later thinning also affects a lower number of fruits and a smaller total strawberry yield per plant. However, the timing of shoot thinning did not have an impact on the average mass of individual fruits in our experiment.
