Kljub časovnemu razponu in pogosti menjavi urednikov so objave hagiografskih pripovedi prisotne v večini letnikov.

Title:Hagiographic narratives in the Catholic almanac Drobtinice
Abstract:The paper presents hagiographic narratives published in Drobtinice (1846−1869; 1887–1900), a Catholic almanac that emerged from the efforts of Anton Martin Slomšek for the cultural, spiritual, and literary development of the Slovenes. Despite the time span and the frequent change of editors, hagiographic narratives are present in most issues, where they were published as part of the preface or in the biographical section. They brought the relationship of man-saint-God closer to readers, broadened their cultural horizons, and urged them to transfer the saint's examples to everyday life. A comparison of selected hagiographic compositions reveals that although they differ in subject matter, they all contain elements originating from universal hagiographic values.
Keywords:hagiography, Slovene devotional literature, hagiographic short narrative, saints' and biblical persons, biographies of saints, almanacs
