Title:Posttravmatska stresna motnja med zaporskimi delavci : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Zaporski delavci se pri svojem delu soočajo z mnogimi stresnimi situacijami, ki lahko pri delavcu povzročijo prekomeren psihološki odziv ali travmo. Zato je delo zaporskih delavcev »idealno« za razvoj posttravmatske stresne motnje. V diplomskem delu sem raziskala posttravmatsko stresno motnjo, pogostost pojava posttravmatske stresne motnje med zaporskimi delavci, preventivne ukrepe in načine preprečevanja nastanka motnje in tudi načine soočanja in zdravljenja, ko pride do pojava posttravmatske stresne motnje pri zaporskih delavcih. Ugotavljala pa sem tudi na kakšen način, če jim, kadru po slovenskih zaporih pomagajo pri soočanju s travmatičnimi dogodki in kako lahko travmatizacijo na delovnem mestu preprečimo. Cilj diplomske naloge je dobiti predstavo o tem, kako pogost je pojav posttravmatske stresne motnje med zaporskimi delavci in kako se s tem pojavom zaporski delavci soočajo. Velika fluktuacija zaporskega kadra je velik problem, k kateremu pripomorejo veliki psihološki napori pri delu, ki negativno vplivajo ne samo na osebje pač pa tudi na rehabilitacijo zaprtih oseb, ki pa je eden izmed glavnih ciljev zaporskega sistema. Ugotovitve diplomske naloge kažejo, da pravosodni policisti v slovenskih zaporih niso deležni pshološke pomoči ali pa je ta na voljo v zelo omejenih okoliščinah kar kaže na pomanjkanje zavedanja pomembnosti dobrega psihičnega stanja zaposlenih v zaporskem sistem.

Title:Posttraumatic stress dissorder among prison workers
Abstract:Prison workers face many stressful situations in their work, which can cause an excessive psychological response or trauma in the worker. Therefore, the work of prison workers is "ideal" for the development of post-traumatic stress disorder. In my thesis, I researched post-traumatic stress disorder, the frequency of post-traumatic stress disorder among prison workers, preventive measures and ways to prevent the onset of the disorder, as well as coping and treatment methods when post-traumatic stress disorder occurs in prison workers. I also found out in what way, if they are helped in dealing with traumatic events in Slovenian prisons, and how we can prevent traumatization in the workplace. The aim of the thesis is to get an idea of ​​how common the phenomenon of post-traumatic stress disorder is among prison workers and how prison workers deal with this phenomenon, since the high turnover of prison staff is a big problem, which is helped by the great psychological effort at work, which has a negative impact not only on the staff, but also on the rehabilitation of inmates, which is one of the main goals of the prison system. The findings of the thesis show that judicial officers in Slovenian prisons do not receive psychological help or that it is available in very limited circumstances, which indicates a lack of awareness of the importance of a good psychological state of employees in the prison system.
