S pomočjo smernic PRISMA diagrama smo predstavili potek iskanja znanstvene literature. Izvedli smo vsebinsko analizo zbranih podatkov.

Title:Psychological and spiritual support for parents of a premature baby in the intensive care and therapy unit
Abstract:Introduction: Psychological and spiritual support is crucial, especially in challenging life situations, trials and unimaginable distress experienced by parents of premature infants being treated in the intensive care and therapy unit. This paper aims to identify the psychological and spiritual support needed by parents of premature infants in the NICU, based on a literature review. Methods: A descriptive research method was used. The following databases were searched to obtain the results: PubMed, CINAHL Ultimate and Web of Science. The process of searching the scientific literature was described using the PRISMA diagram guidelines. A content analysis of the collected data was performed. Results: We included 17 articles in the final analysis. The results indicate that psychological and spiritual support is being actively implemented in clinical practice. The majority of parents reported that they had received significant support from health care professionals. We formed the main category: psychological and spiritual needs of parents of preterm infants in intensive care and therapy, and two subcategories: psychological needs of parents of preterm infants in intensive care and therapy, and spiritual needs of parents of preterm infants in intensive care and therapy. Discussion and conclusion: For the continuous and holistic health care of preterm infants treated in the NICU, psychological and spiritual support are indispensable and interrelated aspects. Spiritual support for parents is often overlooked. However, it plays an important role in meeting the needs of parents of preterm infants in the NICU.
