Abstract:Uvod: Sestavni del primarne zdravstvene oskrbe v ambulantah družinske medicine je obravnava nujnih stanj. Podatki so bili zbrani z anketnim vprašalnikom. Zbrane podatke smo analizirali s pomočjo deskriptivnih statističnih metod ter jih prikazali z grafi in tabelami s pomočjo programov: Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, IBM SPSS 23.0.

Title:Perception of the treatment of emergency patients in family medicine clinics
Abstract:Introduction: Emergency care plays a crucial role in family medicine clinics' primary care services. This study aims to explore the perception of emergency care within such clinics. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in a primary healthcare facility within a selected health center in September, using a convenience sample of 36 healthcare workers. Data collection involved the administration of a questionnaire. The data acquired from the questionnaires was analysed using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, IBM SPSS 23.0. Results: The study revealed that 92% of respondents encountered emergencies within family medicine clinics over the past year. Dyspnea emerged as the most prevalent issue 67% (n = 24), followed by acute abdominal pain 58% (n = 21), hypertensive conditions 45% (n = 16), cardiac arrhythmias 42% (n = 15), acute coronary syndrome 30% (n = 11), psychiatric emergencies 25% (n = 9), and severe trauma 19% (n = 8). Discussion and Conclusion: Enhancing the perception of emergency care can contribute to better organization and competency among healthcare professionals, thereby improving the quality of care provided to emergency patients in family medicine clinics.
