Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo preučevali vpliv partnerskega odnosa na starševstvo.

Title:The impact of partnership on parental relationship
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we researched the influence of a partnership on a parental relationship. In the theoretical part, we focused on defining the partnership and its stages of development. We examined the concepts of love, intimacy, and attachment, as well as the significance of communication in a partnership. In continuation, we addressed partnership dispute, how it is resolved, and what is the role of children in it. We examined the formation of the parental role - motherhood and fatherhood as well as parenting styles. Lastly, we focused on the influence of a partnership on a parental relationship. Within the empirical part, we examined the influence of a partnership on a parental relationship using a survey. The research included 130 individuals from Maribor and its vicinity who were in a partnership and had at least one child when taking the survey. Based on the research findings, we can summarize that marital status contributes to a greater sense of love, emotional connection, and improves the ability of communication within a partnership, which contributes to a more successful resolution of disputes. Partnership disputes arise mainly due to a lack of time spent together. They are present in the majority of partnerships, and they tend to increase after the birth of children.
