| Abstract: | Sladkorna bolezen tipa 2 je kronična bolezen, ki povzroča neustrezno raven inzulina ali inzulinsko rezistenco, kar privede do stalne hiperglikemije. Dejavniki tveganja za razvoj sladkorne bolezni tipa 2 vključujejo genetsko nagnjenost, debelost, nepravilno prehrano, pomanjkanje telesne aktivnosti in starost. Zdravljenje sladkorne bolezni tipa 2 vključuje spremembo življenjskega sloga, prehrane, redne telesne aktivnosti in izgubo telesne teže. |
