Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Primerjava pripovedovanja zgodbe ob črno-beli ilustraciji ter barvni ilustraciji smo v teoretičnem delu opredelili govor, pripovedovanje, vlogo socialne igre v razvoju govora in skupno branje odraslih in otrok. Samostalnike so tvorili enakomerno v obeh pripovedih.

Title:Comparison of storytelling with black-and-white and colour illustration
Abstract:In the thesis titled "Comparison of Storytelling with Black-and-White and Colour Illustration", we defined in the theoretical part speech, storytelling, the role of social play in speech development and joint reading by adults and children. We addressed the development of speech and described in more detail the stages of speech development, the first words, and vocabulary development. We described in more detail the development of children's storytelling, storytelling with illustrations, joint reading, the development of children's creativity and imagination, and explained the role of social play in the development of children's speech. In the empirical part, we conducted two tests involving 17 children aged between 3 and 5 years. The children narrated two stories, one based on a black and white illustration and the other on a colour illustration. Our aim was to determine in which narration they would form more sentences, nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, and prepositions. We aimed to determine which illustration would encourage children to create more different word types. The results showed that the children formed more sentences, verbs, and prepositions when telling a story based on a black-and-white illustration. When telling a story based on a coloured illustration, they were more successful only in forming adjectives and conjunctions. Nouns were formed equally in both stories.
