Aplikativni del magistrske naloge je bil namenjen predstavitvi kratke dobavne verige Zelene točke in predstavitvi zasnove ideje in modela implementacije tehnologije sledljivosti v kratko dobavno verigo.

Title:Blockchain-Based traceability and data integration to optimize short supply chains
Abstract:In a short supply chain, in order to ensure the traceability of products from the farmer to the final consumer, a strategy has been developed to support their business process with a solution for the traceability of final products. Such implementations require significant input and funding from the organisation, as well as a holistic process change in the short supply chain. A timely and comprehensive approach is required for the implemented solution to work effectively. The Master's thesis addresses the topic of a blockchain-based traceability system that enables data integration and optimisation in a short supply chain context for improved visibility, efficiency and traceability. At the beginning of the thesis, we formulated three hypotheses, which we tested by analysing the literature and practical examples. Blockchain technology brings far-reaching changes to supply chains in all areas, with a particularly pronounced impact on key supply chain actors and end-users. Therefore, in the theoretical part, we focused more specifically on the presentation of traceability in the general context of supply chains, and then presented in more detail the implementation of blockchain-based traceability in short supply chains. The applied part of the Master's thesis aimed at introducing the Green Point short supply chain and presenting the conceptual idea and model for the implementation of traceability technology in a short supply chain. We then presented a traceability application that is actively used by actors in the short supply chain and gave a practical example of how to enter information and use this application on a mobile phone. We used a concrete example to demonstrate the traceability of products from the producer to the shelf in the store and the scanning of a QR code on the product declaration by the consumer. We identified the challenges, advantages and disadvantages of implementing a traceability system in a selected short supply chain. We concluded with a discussion on current practices in the short supply chain business and presented suggestions and opportunities for further improvements in the area of traceability and business development.
