Title:Vloga managerjev v sodobnih podjetjih

Abstract:Diplomsko delo oz. tematika tega dela bo povezana predvsem s funkcijami in procesi, ki jih ljudje uporabljamo v vsakdanjem zasebnem ter poslovnem svetu, to je management ter vodenje. To so funkcije, ki se same od sebe ne morejo izvajati, zanje podjetja potrebujejo zelo izkušene in/ali pa talentirane ljudi, ki jih imenujemo managerji in/ali vodje, ki skrbijo, da podjetja rastejo oz. imajo nasploh možnost dočakati rast. Tako imenovani managerji ali vodje pa v podjetjih in organizacijah ali pa katerih drugih ustanovah svoje načrte in zaposlene pripravijo oz. usmerijo skozi različne funkcije managementa, različne načine vodenja, motiviranja, načrtovanja do te mere, da so zaposleni zadovoljni s svojim delom, ljudje na vodilnih položajih pa z načrtovanimi cilji ter seveda delom managerjev in vodij. Vse te procese, funkcije in stile bom v diplomskem delu tudi opisal, raziskal ter prikazal do takšne mere, da bo na koncu razvidno, zakaj mnogi menijo, da so management, managerji in vodje osrčje oz. sam življenjski steber vsakega podjetja, organizacije oz. kakršne koli ustanove. Ključnega pomena je razumeti management in vse, kar spada pod ta pojem. Ker živimo v obdobju razvijanja ter sprememb, se morajo tem spremembam ter razvoju prilagoditi tudi managerji, zato bodo v ospredju tematike moje diplomske naloge »sodobni managerji«. Pred vsem tem bo potrebno opisati prostor, kjer se vsi omenjeni procesi odvijajo, kjer managerji vse te funkcije, stile in načine dela izvajajo, to je seveda podjetje. V diplomskem delu se bom enako kot pri managerjih osredotočil predvsem na podjetja, ki ne glede na vse ovire v današnjem zahtevnem in tehnološko razvitem svetu obstajajo, konkurirajo in se nadaljnje razvijajo, to so t. i. »sodobna podjetja«. S pojmom »sodobno podjetje« ter »sodobni manager« pa nastopijo tudi sodobni problemi oz. težavnosti, zato je pomembno primerjati različna podjetja ter managerje in ugotoviti, kako se uspešna sodobna podjetja ter managerji razlikujejo, kot so na primer zelo uspešno spletno podjetje Facebook oz. zdaj Meta, pa podjetje, ki je postalo eno iz med vodilnih avtomobilskih znamk, to je Tesla Motors, ter seveda tudi zelo uspešna managerja, kot sta Elon Musk ter Mark Zuckerberg. V raziskavi, ki je na koncu naloge, pa bomo lahko videli, kako so vsi pojmi in teorije, kot so konkurenčnost, promoviranje, inovativnost, znanja in drugo pripomogle k uspehu teh dveh gigantskih podjetij in posledično omenjenih managerjev, in zakaj imenujemo današnja podjetja in managerje »sodobne«, kar bom pa še podrobneje razčlenil skozi diplomsko nalogo.

Title:The role of managers in modern companies
Abstract:The thesis or the topic of this thesis will be mainly related to the functions and processes that people use in their everyday private and business world, i.e. management and leadership. These are functions that cannot be carried out by themselves, and for which companies need very experienced and/or talented people, called managers and/or leaders, who make sure that companies grow or have the chance to grow in general. These so-called managers or leaders, in companies and organisations or in other institutions, prepare their plans and guide their employees through different management functions, different ways of leading, motivating, planning, to the extent that the employees are satisfied with their work and the people in management positions are satisfied with the planned objectives and, of course, with the work of the managers and leaders. I will describe, explore and demonstrate all these processes, functions and styles in my thesis to such an extent that it will become clear why many people consider management, managers and leaders to be the heart or the very lifeblood of any company, organisation or institution. It is essential to understand management and everything that falls under this term. As we are living in a period of development and change, managers must also adapt to these changes and developments, which is why the focus of my thesis will be on 'modern managers'. Before all this, it will be necessary to describe the place where all these processes take place, where managers carry out all these functions, styles and ways of working, which is, of course, the company. In my thesis, as with managers, I will focus mainly on companies that, despite all the obstacles, exist, compete and continue to develop in today's complex and technologically advanced world, i.e. the so-called "modern companies". However, with the term 'modern company' and 'modern manager' also come modern problems or difficulties, so it is important to compare different companies and managers and to see how successful modern companies and managers differ, such as the very successful online company Facebook, or now Meta, the company that has become one of the leading car brands, Tesla Motors, and, of course, the very successful managers such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. In the research at the end of the thesis, we will see how all the concepts and theories such as competition, promotion, innovation, knowledge and others have contributed to the success of these two giant companies and, consequently, of these managers, and why we call today's companies and managers 'modern', which I will go into in more detail throughout the thesis.
