Abstract:Naše delo preučuje vpliv razmaha mikromobilnosti na osebe z gibalnimi in s senzornimi ovirami v urbanem okolju. Naše delo prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju dinamike mikromobilnosti in njenega vpliva na osebe z ovirami, kar odpira pot nadaljnjim raziskavam in razvoju vključujočih urbanih politik.

Title:The impact of modern micromobility devices on the safety and overall well-being of individuals with mobility and sensory impairments in traffic
Abstract:Our thesis examines the impact of micromobility on individuals with mobility and sensory impairments in urban environments. We found that despite a high level of awareness about safety rules among micromobility users, certain practices, such as disregarding speed limits and safety distances, increase safety risks for all traffic participants, especially for vulnerable groups. The analysis revealed statistically significant differences in perceptions regarding micromobility among different groups, highlighting the need for targeted policies that consider diverse needs and experiences. We emphasize the necessity of an integrated approach that combines infrastructural improvements with educational and awareness campaigns to enhance the safety and accessibility of cities for everyone. Our thesis contributes to a better understanding of the micromobility dynamics and its impact on individuals with disabilities, paving the way for further research and the development of inclusive urban policies.
Keywords:micromobility, individuals with mobility or sensory impairments, accessibility, traffic safety, transportation policies
