Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo temeljito raziskali teoretično podlago ojačevalnikov ter jo nadgradili z lastnim raziskovalnim delom. Zasnovali, naredili in preizkusili smo audio ojačevalnik razreda AB. Pravilnost delovanja izdelanih vezij smo preverili z uporabo raznolikih vhodnih signalov. S pomočjo osciloskopa smo izvedli meritve ter jih primerjali s pričakovanimi vrednostmi.

Title:Class AB audio amplifier with digital control
Abstract:In our thesis, we thoroughly explored the theoretical foundation of amplifiers and enhanced it with our own research work. We designed, created, tested, and precisely evaluated an AB class audio amplifier. Our focus wasn't solely on the amplifier; we also dedicated ourselves to the power supply section and the control of the device through a responsive touch-sensitive LCD screen. We developed a circuit that functions as an amplifier, capable of amplifying signals in the range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz – precisely those frequencies that the human ear can theoretically perceive. In doing so, we didn't overlook the importance of proper power supply, as high-quality powering is essential for the amplifier's optimal performance. To enhance the user experience, we incorporated a touch-sensitive LCD screen for easy customization of the device according to individual needs. For the amplifier's construction, we chose the TDA7294 chip as the core component of the basic circuit. Concurrently, we meticulously designed the power supply section to ensure stable and efficient operation. To manage the entire device, we turned to a microcontroller from the STM32F750 family. The correctness of the functioning of the developed circuits was verified using a variety of input signals. Through precise measurements conducted with an oscilloscope, we compared the results with the expected values.
