Title:Transport and repackaging of hazardous substances to increase compliance with Slovenian regulations
Abstract:The paper focuses on the analysis, development and optimisation of the transport and handling of hazardous substances in the context of Slovenian regulation. The objectives of the thesis include the analysis of the current state of the transport of hazardous substances by road, the identification of challenges and risks, the development of systematic solutions to improve the safety, compliance with legislation and efficiency of the transport of hazardous substances, the analysis of the regulation in other European countries that are not members of the EU, the study of the environmental impacts on the transport of hazardous substances, and the identification of potential problems in the transport. Examples of checklists and traceability systems, as well as guidelines for better handling of hazardous substances, are presented as key elements to improve safety and compliance. With a focus on repackaging and screening of hazardous substances and improved documentation and traceability, the paper offers practical solutions for organisations and companies involved in the transport of hazardous substances in Slovenia. In addition, the importance of staff training and cooperation with competent authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and the safe and sustainable transport of hazardous substances is also highlighted.
