Title:Vpliv pandemije COVID-19 na mednarodni transport v Evropski uniji in Sloveniji : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa

Abstract:Nenaden pojav bolezni covid-19 in razglasitev pandemije v letu 2020 je močno vplivalo na vse dejavnike gospodarstva, med njimi tudi na mednarodno izmenjavo blaga. To se je pomembno odražalo tudi v mednarodnem tovornem transportu v Sloveniji in drugih državah članicah Evropske unije (EU), kar smo raziskali v našem diplomskem delu. Zanimalo nas je, kako je mednarodni transport blaga potekal pred in kako med pandemijo covida-19. Izvedli smo raziskavo s pomočjo statističnih podatkov iz spletne platforme Eurostat, kjer smo želeli ugotoviti, za koliko in če sploh se je spremenil obseg blaga, transportiranega z mednarodnim transportom v Sloveniji in na ravni držav članic EU. Pri tem smo se osredotočili na cestni, železniški, zračni kot tudi na pomorski promet. Ugotovili smo, da pandemija ni imela samo negativnih učinkov, ampak tudi pozitivne učinke na obseg blaga, transportiranega z mednarodnim transportom, tako v Sloveniji kot tudi v drugih državah članicah EU.

Title:The impact of the COVIS-19 pandemic on international transport in the European Union and Slovenia
Abstract:The sudden emergence of covid-19 and the declaration of a pandemic in 2020 has had a major impact on all factors of the economy, including international trade in goods. This has also had an important impact on international freight transport in Slovenia and other EU Member States, which we have explored in our thesis. We were interested in how international transport of goods was carried out before and during the covid-19 pandemic. We conducted the research using statistical data from the Eurostat online platform to find out by how much, if at all, the volume of goods transported by international transport has changed in Slovenia and at the level of EU Member States. We have focused on road, rail, air and maritime transport. We found that the pandemic not only had negative effects, but also positive effects on the volume of goods transported internationally, both in Slovenia and in other EU Member States.
