Abstract:Gastronomski turizem postaja pomembna usmeritev slovenskega turizma tudi zaradi razvojnih potencialov Slovenije kot turistične destinacije. Enako skrb zahteva oblikovanje luksuznih doživetij. Pri tem so potrebne usmeritve v inovativno vrednotenje vseh ravni gastronomije za doseganje rasti dodane vrednosti. Za to bo treba upoštevati različne dejavnike, ki bodo usklajeno prispevali k trajnostnemu razvoju gastronomskega turizma, kot je bilo začrtano v kandidaturi Slovenije za evropsko gastronomsko regijo 2021.

Title:Gastronomic tourism : role in sustainable destination development
Abstract:Gastronomy tourism has become an important element of Slovenian tourism due in part to the development potential of Slovenia as a tourist destination. A carefully designed luxury gastronomy experience is also crucial. In doing so, orientations are needed in the innovative valorisation of all levels of gastronomy in order to achieve growth in added value. However, it will be necessary to consider various factors that will contribute in a coordinated manner to the sustainable development of gastronomic tourism, as outlined in Slovenia's candidacy for the European Region of Gastronomy 2021.
