Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Razvoj artikulacije in besedišča pri otrocih v starostnem obdobju od tretjega do četrtega leta smo v teoretičnem delu s pomočjo literature najprej opredelili, kaj je govor in podrobneje predstavili govorni razvoj.

Title:The development of articualtion and vocabulary in children aged three to four
Abstract:In the theoretical part of the thesis titled "Development of Articulation and Vocabulary in Children aged Three to Four", we first defined what speech is and provided a detailed presentation of speech development using existing literature. We identified the most common factors that influence speech and vocabulary development in children, with a certain emphasis on speech perception and development of individual sounds. Furthermore, we introduced literacy and listening skills and their significance in the speech field. In the empirical part, we conducted two assessments involving 30 children. Over a six-month period, these children named the same pictures, and we recorded their naming and pronunciation precisely. We assessed progress in vocabulary and articulation and analysed in detail to what extent the pronunciation of individual sounds had improved. The results showed that during the second assessment, the articulation of words improved in all children, and their vocabulary expanded. More than half of the children made significant progress within 6 months, while only some progressed to a lesser extent.
