Title:An analysis of the digital inclusion of people with mental disorders
Abstract:The growing demand to improve mental health has led to an increase in digital content to help ease these issues. In this thesis, we looked at the state of digital inclusion amongst people with mental health disorders and whether they can even use digital solutions to improve mental health. Our literature analysis has showed that mental health disorders are not the reason for digital exclusion. There are many apps that were created for the purpose of improving mental health, but they lack scientific research and approval. We also saw that web sites do not use accessibility standards, meant for people with mental health disorders.
Keywords:digital inclusion, digital exclusion, mental health, digital mental health interventions
