Title:Vpliv izrabljenega gobjega substrata na tla, pridelek in kemijske ter fizikalne lastnosti paradižnika v konvencionalnem sistemu pridelave : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Gnojilo, s katerim prispevamo k zmanjšanju negativnega vpliva na okolje je lahko tudi kompost iz lignoceluloznega odpada, ki nastaja kot stranski produkt pri pridelavi gob. Cilj študije je bil oceniti primernost kompostiranega gobjega substrata za gnojenje ter vpliv tega na pridelek in kakovost paradižnika. Raziskava je potekala v letu 2022 na tržno usmerjeni zelenjadarski kmetiji Murko. Vključevala je štiri gnojilna obravnavanja: kontrolo (C), standardno gnojenje z mineralnimi gnojili (S), gnojenje s kompostiranim izrabljenim gobjim substratom (IGS) in kombinacijo mineralnih gnojil ter kompostiranega izrabljenega gobjega substrata (S+IGS), zasnovano v naključnem blok sistemu s tremi ponovitvami. Uporabljen je bil kultivar paradižnika 'Belle F1', ki je bil posajen v rastlinjak. Vrednotenje je zajemalo šest obiranj paradižnika, oceno skupnega in tržnega ter netržnega pridelka. V laboratoriju FKBV so bila izvedena merjenja premera, višine in mase plodov. Analizirane so bile vsebnosti sladkorja, C-vitamina, nitratov, nitritov, titracijskih kislin ter količine suhe snovi. Vzorčenje tal je potekalo na začetku in koncu rastne dobe, s tem pa so bile opravljene meritve parametrov tal v laboratoriju FKBV, vključno z vsebnostjo hranil, reakcijo tal ter organsko snovjo. Rezultati enoletnih meritev so pokazali, da so bili plodovi na obravnavanju S+IGS v povprečju višji (67,7 ± 0,80 mm) od C (63,3 ± 1,31 mm) in IGS (62,3 ± 1,58 mm). Gnojenje z različnimi gnojil in njihovimi kombinacijami (S, IGS, S +IGS) ni vplivalo na višino pridelka, število plodov in parametre kakovosti paradižnika, kar je najverjetneje posledica visoke vrednosti mineralnega dušika v tleh pred in med rastno dobo paradižnika.

Title:Spent mushroom substratethe soil, yield and chemical and physical properties of tomatoes in a conventional production system
Abstract:Fertilizer contributing to reducing the negative environmental impact can also be compost from lignocellulosic waste, a byproduct of mushroom cultivation. The aim of the study was to assess the suitability of composted mushroom substrate for fertilization and its impact on tomato yield and quality. The research was conducted in 2022 at the market-oriented vegetable farm Murko. It included four fertilizer treatments: control (C), standard fertilization with mineral fertilizers (S), fertilization with composted spent mushroom substrate (IGS), and a combination of mineral fertilizers and composted spent mushroom substrate (S+IGS), designed in a random block system with three replications. The tomato cultivar 'Belle F1' was used, planted in a greenhouse. The evaluation involved six tomato harvests, assessing total, marketable, and non-marketable yield. In the laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, measurements of fruit diameter, height, and weight were conducted. Analyses covered sugar content, vitamin C, nitrates, nitrites, titratable acidity, and dry matter content. Soil sampling was performed at the beginning and end of the growing season, and soil parameter measurements were conducted in the laboratory, including nutrient content, soil pH, and organic matter. The one-year measurement results showed that fruits in the S+IGS treatment were, on average, taller (67.7 ± 0.80 mm) than C (63.3 ± 1.31 mm) and IGS (62.3 ± 1.58 mm). Fertilization with different fertilizers and their combinations (S, IGS, S+IGS) did not affect crop height, fruit number, or tomato quality parameters, most likely due to the high mineral nitrogen content in the soil before and during the tomato growing season.
