Abstract:Cilj diplomskega dela je bil skozi proučevanje pomanjkljivosti obstoječih patentnih rešitev zasnovati inovativen 5-osni strojni primež. Ob upoštevanju načel razvoja odprte strojne opreme, kot dela svobodne znanosti, je transparentno in temeljito predstavljena izvirna rešitev s poudarkom na prednapetosti in dvojnem vpenjanju gibljive čeljusti primeža. Opravljena je bila statična analiza konstrukcije in optimizacija topologije. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da težave z dvigom čeljusti niso bile v celoti odpravljene, zato so predstavljene možnosti za nadaljnje izboljšave. Predstavljen je načrt nadaljnjih korakov, da bi lahko konstrukcija prešla v prosto javno uporabo.

Title:Constructing a machine vise using cae and topology optimisation and a simulation performance test
Abstract:This thesis aimed to design an innovative 5-axis machine vise by studying the shortcomings of existing patent solutions. Considering the principles of open-source hardware development as a part of open science, an original solution is presented transparently and thoroughly, emphasising the preload and double clamping of the moving jaw of the vise. A static analysis and topology optimisation of the structure was carried out. It was found that the jaw-lifting problems still needed to be eliminated, and possibilities for further improvements were presented. A plan of further steps is presented to allow the design to pass into free public use.
