Abstract:Okoljski vpliv tehnološkega razvoja letalskih motorjev je kritična tema zaradi naraščajočega svetovnega povpraševanja po energiji, fosilnih goriv in rasti svetovnega prebivalstva. Prekomerno poraba fosilnih goriv povzroča izpuste ogljikovega dioksida in prispeva k podnebnim spremembam.

Title:Analysis of impact of aircraft engine technological development on environment
Abstract:The environmental impact of the technological development of aircraft engines is a critical topic due to the increasing global demand for energy, fossil fuels and the growth of the world population. Excessive burning of fossil fuels causes carbon dioxide emissions and contributes to climate change. Aviation, which is an indispensable part of the world economy, has a significant impact on the environment with its emissions and other negative effects. This requires swift and thorough action to reduce the harmful consequences and promote sustainable solutions in the aviation industry. A comprehensive assessment of climate and ozone changes due to aviation emissions reveals scientific uncertainties, the need for further research and development of technological and regulatory measures to reduce emissions. Understanding the economic and environmental consequences of these measures is critical to better policy and regulation in the aviation industry and to protect the environment and human population. In the study, we conducted a survey with the aim of investigating environmental pollution caused by the aviation industry. Our goal was to gain insight into the opinions and perceptions of air passengers about the emissions of harmful substances originating from air traffic, and to investigate how these emissions affect the environment. The survey included 109 respondents who answered 16 questions divided into two main areas: socio-demographic characteristics of respondents and their attitudes towards environmental degradation due to air traffic.
