Abstract:Spremembe v demografski sestavi delovne sile, spremembe na trgu dela in tehnološke spremembe so razlog, da vse več zaposlenih doživlja konflikt med delom in družino, kadar poskušajo uravnotežiti zahteve delovne in družinske vloge, saj vsaka vloga zahteve čas, energijo in predanost.

Title:Work-family balance of employees at Klinika Golnik
Abstract:Changes in the demographic composition of the workforce, changes in the labor market, and technological change mean that more and more employees are experiencing work-family conflict when trying to balance the demands of work and family roles, as each role requires time, energy, and commitment. In the diploma thesis, we were interested in whether employees at the Golnik Clinic successfully balance work and family life, whether work significantly impacts family than vice versa, and whether there are gender differences in work-family balance performance. We used a questionnaire that all employees of the Golnik Clinic could fill in. In the theoretical part, we examined the domestic and foreign literature on work-life balance and work-family conflict and presented the relevant concepts. In the research part, we found that employees at the Golnik Clinic are, on average, successful in reconciling work and family and that there are no significant gender differences in the success of reconciling the two areas. We also found that work-family conflict is more pronounced than family-work conflict and that the level of work-family conflict in both directions studied was low. On average, respondents agreed that they had good support from their colleagues at work, and on average, they also agreed that their line managers and Clinic management supported them in balancing work and family life. We concluded that the Golnik Clinic is an organization that provides employees with favorable policies and practices for reconciling work and family, as they are aware that, in return, they get satisfied, motivated, and committed employees.
