Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava metodo relativnega vrednotenja. Metoda je ena izmed najpogosteje uporabljenih z strani ocenjevalcev vrednosti podjetij saj je proces vrednotenja z izbrano metodo hitro izvedljiv ter ne zahteva predpostavk o poslovanju podjetij v prihodnosti. V nadaljevanju naloge smo raziskali kriterije za izbiro konkurenčnih podjetij in finančne mnogokratnike z katerimi primerjamo izbrani vzorec podjetij med seboj. Poseben poudarek smo namenili sektorsko specifičnim mnogokratnikom, ki lahko, kadar so uporabljeni pravilno podajo popolnoma novo perspektivo v procesu vrednotenja. Teoretični del diplomske naloge smo kasneje implementirali na praktičnem primeru, kjer smo z metodo relativnega vrednotenja izvedli vrednotenje izbranih podjetij v energetskem sektorju.

Title:
Relative valuation of selected companies in the energy sector
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the method of relative valuation. This method is one of the most commonly used by business valuation assessors, as the valuation process using this chosen method can be quickly executed and does not require assumptions about the future operations of the companies. Continuing the thesis, we explored the criteria for selecting competitive companies and the financial multiples with which we compare the selected sample of companies among themselves. Particular emphasis was placed on sector-specific multiples, which, when used correctly, can provide an entirely new perspective in the valuation process. The theoretical part of the thesis was later implemented in a practical example, where we carried out the valuation of selected companies in the energy sector using the relative valuation method.
