Abstract:	Severna Makedonija je neobalna država na Zahodnem Balkanu. Od svoje osamosvojitve leta 1991 je Severna Makedonija izkazala nenehno predanost zasledovanju politične stabilnosti, gospodarskih reformah in evropske vrednote, ki jih sama po sebi ima in spoštuje. Ker je sorazmerno majhna evropska država v razvoju, ima najboljše možnosti za rast in stabilizacijo v Evropski uniji. Toda je država kandidatka od leta 2005, s čimer je del enega najdaljših evropskih integracijskih maratonov v zgodovini Evropske unije. Evropska Unija, kot najboljša evropska spodbujevalka miru in blaginje, ima instrumente, s katerimi spodbuja evropske države k močnemu povezovanju, prizadevanju za skupne cilje, hkrati pa promovira ohranjanje različnih kultur in načinov življenja. Postopek vključevanja novih držav članic se je zaradi dosedanjih izkušenj Unije bistveno spremenil, zato je pomembno, da države, ki si želijo vstopa v EU, razumejo, zakaj in kako se spreminja ter kako bo to vplivalo nanje.

Title:	The process of integration of North Macedonia into the European Union and the implementation of accounting rules into national law
Abstract:	North Macedonia is a landlock country in the Western Balkans. Since its independence in 1991, North Macedonia has demonstrated a constant commitment to the pursuit of political stability, economic reforms, and the European values that she inherently has and respects. As a relatively small developing European country, it has the best chances for growth and stabilization in the European union. But she has been a candidate country since 2005, making her part of the longest European integration marathon in the history of the European union. The European union, as the best European promoter of peace and prosperity, has instruments with which it encourages European countries to work together, striving for common goals, while at the same time promotes preservation of different cultures and ways of life. The integration process of new member states has significantly changed due to the previous experience of the Union so far, so it is important that countries wishing to join the EU understand why and how it is changing, and how it will affect them.
