Title:Business transformation and development of a new business model based on environmental improvements in the supply chain
Abstract:In the 21st century, we need to keep pace with change faster than in the past. Lifestyles and climate change have forced us to adopt new environmental factors that are more environmentally friendly on a daily basis. To a large extent, all businesses, both macro and micro, have had to adapt or will have to adapt to the new sustainable development. There are several reasons why. The most important is, of course, the concern for the environment, but the second is the added value of business and the new competitive advantages and new business opportunities. The guiding principle for every company should be to look at what can be done or what input is needed to make sustainability better and more effective in the company throughout the supply chain and to set sustainability goals in both social and environmental terms. In my master thesis I will therefore focus on the micro-enterprise Ma-ar office supply store, where I will attempt to use the Canvas business model, an online survey, and a greening system to reorient the entire business towards a more sustainable one, thus making the company more competitive and adding more value to its business area.
