Title:Ozaveščenost osnovnošolskih učiteljev o alergenih v šolski prehrani : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Vse pogosteje se učitelji v osnovnih šolah srečujejo z učenci, ki so alergični na različna živila in aditive dodane živilom. Ključnega pomena je medsebojna komunikacija in sodelovanje med starši in učitelji, ki otroka, ki ima alergijo na hrano poučujejo. V magistrskem delu smo predstavili definicije alergije, opisali najpogostejše alergene v hrani in simptome, ki jih alergeni povzročajo. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili Zakon o prehrani v vzgojno izobraževalnih ustanovah in vlogo učiteljev pri prehrani učencev. Osnovni namen magistrskega dela je bilo raziskati, kako so učitelji v osnovnih šolah ozaveščeni o alergenih v šolski prehrani. Odgovore smo pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki ga je izpolnilo 224 učiteljev, preko spletnega orodja »1ka«. Ugotovili smo, da so učitelji premalo ozaveščeni o alergenih, ki se pojavljajo v živilih. Učitelji so seznanjeni z alergijami, pri svojih učencih, pri čemer, pa je zaskrbljujoč podatek, da bi v primeru alergijske reakcije samo nekaj več kot polovica anketiranih učiteljev znalo ustrezno odreagirati, medtem ko ostala polovica učiteljev odreagirati ne bi znala. Vzgojno-izobraževalni zavod mora učencem, ki imajo alergijo na hrano zagotoviti dietno prehrano. Dietna prehrana je področje, ki zahteva individualno prehrano in na nek način predstavlja breme za vzgojno-izobraževalno ustanovo. Zaposleni se pogosto ne zavedajo tveganja in morebitnih posledic, ki se lahko pojavijo ob neustreznem načrtovanju in pripravi hrane. Glede na ugotovljene raziskave ocenjujemo, da je učitelje potrebno dodatno informirati in izobraževati o alergijah, ki nastanejo zaradi hrane.

Title:Primary school teachers'allergens in school nutritiond
Abstract:In primary schools teachers increasingly encounter students who are allergic to various foods and additives added to foods. Key of importance is mutual communication and cooperation between parents and teachers who teach a child with a food allergy. In the master's thesis, we presented definitions of allergy, described the most common food allergens and the symptoms caused by allergens. In the following, we presented the Act on nutrition in educational institutions and the role of teachers in the nutrition of students. The basic purpose of the Master's thesis was to investigate how teachers in primary schools are aware of allergens in school meals. The answers were obtained with the help of a questionnaire filled out by 224 teachers via the "1ka" online tool. We found that teachers are not sufficiently aware of allergens that appear in foods. Teachers are aware of allergies, and their students, however, it is a worrying fact that in the event of an allergic reaction, only slightly more than half of the surveyed teachers would be able to react appropriately, while the other half of the teachers would not be able to react. The educational institution must provide dietary nutrition to students with food allergies. Dietary nutrition is an area that requires individual nutrition and in some way represents a burden for an educational institution. Employees are often not aware of the risk and potential consequences that may arise from inadequate food planning and preparation. Based on the research findings, we believe that it is necessary to inform and educate teachers about food allergies.
