Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo preverjali razvoj govora različno starih otrok preko njihovega pripovedovanja zgodb ob slikah. Empirični del diplomskega dela smo izvajali v vrtcu. Pridobljene rezultate smo predstavili v tabelah.

Title:Storytelling with pictures by children, aged 3 to 6 years
Abstract:In the diploma thesis, we examined the speech development of children of various ages through their storytelling with pictures. The diploma thesis is titled Storytelling with pictures by children aged 3 to 6 years. As previously stated, we concentrated on children's speech. We concentrated on speech development in the preschool period, from the pre-linguistic period to the linguistic period. The thesis assignment focused on storytelling with pictures. In the theoretical section, we were interested in the stages of speech development, preschool children's speech, and the factors that influence its development. We looked into how peers, the child's gender, genetic factors, and the quality of the family environment influence speech development. We discussed how we can encourage a child's speech development. We also looked into the importance of storytelling in the development of a child's speech. The very elements of storytelling were added to the conclusion of the theoretical section. The empirical section of the thesis was carried out at the Kindergarten. The study included children aged 3 to 6, resulting in a diverse group. At the time, there were 18 children in the group. First, we recorded all of the stories told by children of various ages. Then we examined each child and his or her story, according to the factors we set. The obtained results were presented in tables.
