Abstract:Digitalizacija delovnih procesov je v sodobnem poslovnem svetu ključ do uspešnega poslovanja podjetij.

Title:Digitalization of transport order documents in the selected company
Abstract:In today's business world, the digitalization of work processes is the key to successful business operations. More and more companies are now facing digital transformation of their business operations. This enables them to be more agile, flexible, and faster in their work processes and hence more competitive. Digitalization also allows for the electronic storage of documents and is the cornerstone of the transition to paperless trade which must be done in compliance with the legislation. The subject of the thesis is the introduction of digitalization of transport order documents in a selected company, which is a leading logistics service provider in the Savinja region. Non-digitalized transport order documents pose a challenge to the company in terms of storage, retrieval, and retention, and consequently represent a large paper consumption. In the paper, we will create a snapshot of the situation which will be used to extract the existing process approach of the international transport department. Based on this, a critical analysis will be made. This will be used to present the main reasons for not digitalizing transport order documents. Drawing on all the findings, we will propose a solution to the problem which will represent an upgrade of the existing document system.
