Title:Servo motor control using programmable logic controller and human-machine interface
Abstract:The idea of the thesis is to create an application for controlling servo motors. The movement is performed by an Omron R88M servo motor controlled by an Omron R88D driver. The driver controls the Omron NJ501-1300 PLC. As part of this, Weintek's HMI touch screen is used to enter all the values, on which all the functions of the application are displayed. The machine also consists of a sliding frame that houses servo motors and 3D printed heads for better movement observation. The paper describes the process of writing a PLC program in the Sysmac Studio development environment and how to control the servo converters for a specific motor so that the motor performs the required movement. The paper describes in detail the process of connecting and parameterizing the servo converter when controlling via PLC. The application consists of several parts, through testing we found that the system and engines meet the set goals. A part of the larger program is also described, in which the segments for controlling the servo converter are explained. The paper also describes the function blocks for controlling the movement of the servo motor.
