Podrobneje smo predstavili projektno delo. V empiričnem delu naloge smo predstavili in ovrednotili izvedbo projekta o polžih in ga poimenovali »Otroci iz vrtca Mežica spoznavajo polže«. Otroci so preko natančnega opazovanja in različnih dejavnosti spoznavali polže v igralnici in neposredno v naravnem okolju.

Title:Children from the Mežica kindergarten learning about snails
Abstract:In kindergarten we try to spend as much time as possible in nature, because nature is a rich learning environment for children, where there are endless opportunities for learning and exploring. During our spring walks, the children were particularly attracted to snails, which was the trigger for the project on snails presented in our thesis. In the theoretical part of our thesis, we described the biology of the snail and also said a few words about keeping animals in kindergarten. We also described the importance of early scientific and experimental learning for children and the role of the educator in this process. We also presented the project work in more detail. In the empirical part of the thesis, we presented and evaluated the implementation of the project "Children from Mežica kindergarten learn about snails". The children got to know snails through close observation and various activities in the playroom and directly in the natural environment. The aim of the thesis was also to evaluate how these activities influenced children's attitude and knowledge about snails. Throughout the project, 10 children aged 2-3 years from the Mežica kindergarten were involved. Their knowledge was tested through oral questionnaires before and after the project. The analysis of the answers showed that the children acquired a lot of knowledge about snails and reduced some prejudices.
