Namen magistrskega dela je bil tematsko analizirati, razvrstiti in predstaviti izbrana kratkoprozna besedila sodobnih avtorjev in avtoric v literarni reviji Literatura. Besedila so sporočilno močna, stilno in jezikovno zahtevna, tematsko aktualna in so odličen prikaz sodobne literarne umetnosti.

Title:Short prose in the Literatura magazine between 2015 and 2020
Abstract:In the master's thesis titled Short Prose in the Literatura Magazine Between 2015 and 2020, a thematic analysis of selected Slovenian contemporary short prose works is presented. The purpose of the master's thesis was to thematically analyse, classify and present selected short prose texts by contemporary authors published in the Literatura literary magazine. Monthly published Literatura magazine, intended for perceptive and knowledgeable readers, boasts a wide spectrum of quality literary material, which has been contributed monthly since 1989 by new or established authors. The insights expressed through quantitative analysis and graphical presentation are continued with a theoretical design, which is relevantly linked to the empirical part with an in-depth thematic analysis and breakdown of dominant themes. We found that contemporary authors of short prose often write about topics from the perspective of social criticism, through which they express their views and musings about the traumas of the modern world. The texts carry a strong message, are stylistically and linguistically demanding, thematically current and an excellent example of modern literary art.
Keywords:Short prose, short story, social criticism, Literatura literary magazine, contemporary Slovenian literature.
