Title:Vpliv branja pravljic na otrokovo besedišče v drugem starostnem obdobju : diplomsko delo

Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Vpliv branja pravljic na otrokovo besedišče v drugem starostnem obdobju smo preučevali, kako lahko na razvoj in širjenje otrokovega besedišča vpliva vzgojiteljevo branje in pripovedovanje otroške literature. Diplomsko delo sestavljata teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu našega diplomskega dela smo se osredotočili predvsem na pomen in razvoj govora ter pomen pripovedovanja. Eno poglavje je osredotočeno tudi na sam razvoj pripovedovanja, saj se diplomsko delo navezuje na pripovedovanje, vključena je tudi domišljija otrok. V empiričnem delu imamo opredeljene in prikazane rezultate pridobljenih podatkov naše raziskave. S pomočjo raziskave smo preučevali stopnjo otrokovega besedišča. Vzgojiteljica je vrtčevskim otrokom drugega starostnega obdobja šest mesecev načrtno pripovedovala in brala različne pravljice, pri čemer smo želeli vplivati na širjenje otrokovega besedišča. Ob našem preverjanju v mesecu maju so si otroci ob dveh prikazanih sličicah v poljubnem zaporedju izmišljali svojo zgodbo.

Title:The impact of reading children's books on preschooler's acquisition of vocabulary
Abstract:Diploma thesis titled The Impact of Reading Children’s Books on Preschooler’s Vocabulary Acquisition in the second age period addresses the influence of reading children’s books and educator’s storytelling on the development and expanding of child’s vocabulary. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, our focus is aimed at the meaning of speech and speech development as well as the meaning of narrative. One chapter of the thesis is centered on the development of narrative, as the thesis relates to narrative. Children’s imagination is included as well. The results and data of our research are presented in the empirical part. The research helped us look into range of children’s vocabulary level. The purpose of our research was to influence children’s vocabulary expansion by including educators who have read children’s books to children in the second age group over a constant period six-month period. Over our testing in May, children were given the task of making up their own story in any given sequence by being presented with two separate illustrations.
