Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili razvoj temeljnih gibalnih vzorcev predšolskih otrok v drugem starostnem obdobju.

Title:Fundamental motor patterns of preschool children in the second age period
Abstract:In the thesis, we presented the development of the fundamental motor patterns of preschool children in the second age period. In the theoretical part, we investigated fundamental motor patterns and their importance for the child, natural forms of movement, gross and fine motor skills of the child, and movement development of preschool children of the second age period. We also compared the fundamental motor patterns between children and presented the impact of movement/sports activity on the child's health and how the environment affected the child's movement/sports activity. In the empirical work, we identified differences in fundamental motor patterns between children of different ages, between genders and between children fed differently. The research was based on a sample of 154 children from different kindergartens, aged between 3 and 6, who differed in terms of age, gender and nutrition. We found that there are statistically significant differences in movement tasks between children of different ages, while there were no statistically significant differences between boys and girls in the performance of most movement tasks. There were also no statistically significant differences in movement tasks between the differently-fed children. We have found that in early childhood it is necessary to provide the child with as much learning as possible, which has a positive effect on his further development, by offering him incentives and setting him appropriate challenges and tasks, thus positively influencing his movement development. We must also accustom the child to a healthy diet, as this is also crucial for his development.
