Abstract:Uporaba virtualnih proizvodnih tehnologij, kot je programsko okolje Factory I/O, je v zadnjih letih postala vse bolj pomembna, saj si proizvajalci prizadevajo optimizirati svoje proizvodne procese, zmanjšati stroške in izboljšati učinkovitost. V tem magistrskem delu smo raziskovali uporabo programskega okolja Siemens S7-PLCSIM programskega okolja za simulacijo delovanja programabilnega logičnega krmilnika (PLK), v kombinaciji s programskim okoljem Factory I/O za načrtovanje, simulacijo in upravljanje virtualnega industrijskega procesa. Glavno raziskovalno vprašanje magistrske naloge je bilo razumeti, kako učinkovito nadzorovati virtualni industrijski proces z uporabo programskega okolja S7-PLCSIM in programskega okolja Factory I/O. Da bi odgovorili na to vprašanje, smo najprej oblikovali virtualni industrijski proces v programskem okolju Factory I/O, ki je vključeval različne vrste strojev, tekočih trakov in drugih elementov. Nato smo s programskim okoljem Siemens Step 7 napisali in prevedli program PLK ter virtualni PLK povezali z virtualnim proizvodnim procesom v programskem okolju Factory I/O.

Title:Development and Control of a Virtual Industrial Process Using Factory I/O Environment with Siemens S7-PLCSIM Controller
Abstract:The use of virtual manufacturing technologies, such as Factory I/O software package, has become increasingly important in recent years as manufacturers seek to optimize their production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. In this master's thesis, we explored the use of Siemens S7-PLCSIM software package for simulating the operation of a programmable logic controller (PLC), in combination with Factory I/O software package to design, simulate, and operate a virtual industrial process. The main research question of this study was to understand how to effectively control a virtual industrial process using S7-PLCSIM software package and Factory I/O software package. To address this question, we first designed a virtual industrial process in Factory I/O software package that included various types of machines, conveyors, and other elements. We then wrote and compiled a PLC program using the Siemens Step 7 software package and connected the virtual PLC to the virtual manufacturing process in Factory I/O software package. The findings of this study show that it is possible to effectively control a virtual industrial process using S7-PLCSIM software package and Factory I/O software package, and to obtain results that are comparable to those of a physical process. This approach has the potential to provide manufacturers with a flexible and cost-effective way to optimize their production processes and make informed decisions about their operations. Our results also highlight the importance of considering the impact of various factors, such as demand and machine reliability, on the performance of the system.
