Title:Aspects of the transition to complete online banking
Abstract:The thesis concerns the offer of online banks and possible remote banking. The purpose is to find out why, in all the years of acceptance and promotion of online and mobile banking, banks have not yet offered us comprehensive online banking, when a visit to a branch would not be necessary at all. In the theoretical part, the changing habits of clients are presented, while in the practical part, the differences between the banks offer as part of the online bank are defined and the information obtained through the interview, how the content offered through the bank's digital channels is created at Bank X and what causes the most problems for clients. The use of security mechanisms when registering in the online bank and using services within the online bank is reviewed. The challenges faced by banks when creating online bank content and clients using the online bank are defined, and a comparison of the offer of online banks in Slovenia and two foreign only-digital banks is made. Large differences have been identified in the offer of comprehensive services of online banks or other remote operations, and we can also claim that at the moment only the existing banks in Slovenia have greater competition, because foreign banks do not yet offer all their services. With the data obtained as part of the interview, we conclude that comprehensive business operations via the internet are completely achievable and would benefit both banks and clients.
