Abstract:Sodobna vozila postajajo vse bolj zmogljivi in zapleteni elektronski sistemi. Dandanes je zato eden od izzivov, s katerimi se moramo soočiti, ob taki kompleksnosti zagotoviti tudi varna, robustna, hitra in visoko zanesljiva vozila. V magistrski nalogi se osredotočamo predvsem na analizo izvajanja storitveno usmerjenih komunikacijskih protokolov v avtomobilski vmesni programski opremi, potrebni za visoko zmogljive računalniške krmilne enote. Naš cilj je med drugim tudi oceniti zmogljivosti dveh storitveno orientiranih komunikacijskih protokolov pod določenimi pogoji. Protokola DDS in SOME/IP se na splošno izvajata na visoko zmogljivem računalniku skupaj s prilagodljivo vmesno programsko opremo Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform Demonstrator.

Title:Performance analysis of service-oriented communication protocols using the AUTOSAR middleware
Abstract:Modern vehicles are becoming increasingly highly networked and complex electronic systems. Nowadays, one of the challenges we must face regarding these facts is to provide highly secure, robust, fast, and reliable communication capabilities of the vehicle. This master thesis is devoted to the runtime analysis of service-oriented communication protocols in the automotive middleware needed for high performance computing control units. Namely, two service-oriented communication protocols must be evaluated under specified conditions. The DDS (Data Distribution Service), and SOME/IP (Scalable service-oriented Middleware over IP) protocols are in general executed on a high-performance computer together with the Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform Demonstrator.
