Title:Kompetence turističnega vodnika v turizmu 4.0 : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija

Abstract:Turizem 4.0 je pojem, ki se vsakodnevno vse bolj uveljavlja povsod po svetu. Gre za novo ime paradigme, ki temelji na četrti industrijski revoluciji. Poudarek pri tem je predvsem na pametni tehnologiji in digitalizaciji, ki sta se skozi desetletja neverjetno razvili in se še razvijata na dnevni ravni. Turizem 4.0 s sabo prinaša med drugim ogromno novosti, ki od ljudi, predvsem zaposlenih v turizmu, zahtevajo dodatna znanja, sposobnosti, kompetence in ne nazadnje tudi dodatna splošna izobraževanja. Teoretični del zaključne naloge zajema podrobno opredelitev kompetenc, kompetenc po ravneh posameznika in opredelitev kompetenc turističnega vodnika. Empirični del naloge zajema raziskovalna metoda študije primera; v analizo je bilo vključenih pet intervjujev turističnih vodnikov, ki imajo uradno registrirano licenco in opravljajo delo turističnega vodnika v Sloveniji. Iz rezultatov raziskave smo ugotovili, da bodo za delovanje v Turizmu 4.0 turistični vodniki morali imeti v prvi vrsti digitalne kompetence. Prav tako bo potrebno nenehno spremljanje razvoja tehnologije in učenje uporabe le-te ter druge veščine, kot so prilagodljivost, obvladovanje jezika, znanje uporabe kamer, mikrofonov in drugih tehničnih pripomočkov v povezavi z drugimi kompetencami, ki so nujne za opravljanje dela turističnega vodnika.

Title:Competencies of tour guide in tourism 4.0
Abstract:Tourism 4.0 is a concept that is gaining ground around the world. It is the new name of a paradigm based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The focus here is on smart technology and digitalisation, which have evolved enormously over the decades and are still evolving on a daily basis. Tourism 4.0 brings with it, among other things, a huge number of innovations that require additional knowledge, skills, competences and, last but not least, additional general training for people, especially those working in tourism. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a detailed definition of competences, competences by level of the individual and the definition of the competences of a tour guide. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the case study research method, where the analysis included five interviews of tourist guides who have an officially registered licence and are working as tour guides in Slovenia. From the results of the survey, we concluded that in order to operate in Tourism 4.0, tour guides will need to have digital competences first and foremost. It will also require constant monitoring of technological developments and learning how to use them, as well as other skills such as flexibility, language skills, knowledge of how to use cameras, microphones and other technical aids, in conjunction with the other competences necessary to perform the job of a tourist guide.
