Title:Ponovna vzpostavitev priključne proge na relaciji Celje-Velenje-Dravograd : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Med leti 1899 in 1969 je železnica povezovala Celje, Velenje in Dravograd. Odsek proge med Velenjem in Dravogradom je bil nerentabilen, kasneje zaprt in odstranjen. Proga med Celjem in Velenjem še vedno obratuje, zadnje čase pa se promet na njej povečuje. V delu sem predstavil promet na obstoječi progi in njene trenutne tehnične karakteristike. V Evropski uniji so zaradi večanja potreb po transportu in prevelikega prevoza blaga po cestah ustanovili evropske železniške tovorne koridorje, ki povezujejo evropske države ter njihove celinske terminale s pristanišči. V svojem delu sem predstavil koridorje, ki potekajo skozi Slovenijo ali imajo v Sloveniji tudi izhodišče. V nalogi je opisana tudi količina tovora, ki se je v zadnjih letih prevozila po naših glavnih progah, oziroma število vlakov. Zaradi zdajšnjega povečevanja železniškega tovornega prometa bi se lahko še obstoječa proga obnovila, odsek od Velenja do Dravograda pa ponovno vzpostavil. Gradnja in posodobitev železnice bi prispevala k boljši trajnostni mobilnosti v državi. Z uvedbo lokalnih priključnih prog bi se izboljšale tako potniške (lokalne) kot tovorne povezave. V primeru izrednosti na glavnih progah, po katerih tečejo koridorji, bi ta železniška povezava lahko služila tudi kot obvozna ali alternativna proga. V diplomski nalogi bom predstavil svojo zamisel za vzpostavitev priključne proge na že omenjeni relaciji, razloge za obuditev, opisal tehnične komponente nove proge ter podal predlog vlečnih sredstev.

Title:The re-establishment of the feeder line between Celje-Velenje-Dravograd
Abstract:Between 1899 and 1969, the railway connected the towns of Celje, Velenje and Dravograd. The section of the line between Velenje and Dravograd was unprofitable, and later closed and removed. The line between Celje and Velenje is still in operation, with traffic increasing in the recent time. The thesis describes the traffic on the existing line and the current technical characteristics of the line. Due to the increasing transport needs and the excessive road transport of goods, European rail freight corridors have been established in the European Union, connecting European countries and their inland terminals with ports. The diploma thesis describes the corridors that run through Slovenia or have a starting point in Slovenia. It also outlines the amount of cargo that was transported over the main Slovenian lines in the recent years, and the number of trains in this period. In light of the current increase in rail freight transport, the existing line could be renovated, and the section from Velenje to Dravograd could be re-built. The construction and renovation of the railway line would contribute to improving sustainable mobility in Slovenia. The introduction of local connecting lines would improve both passenger (local) and cargo connections. In the event of incidents on the main corridor lines, this rail link could also serve as a detour or alternative line. In the diploma thesis, I will present my idea for establishing a connecting line on the aforementioned route and the reasons for its re-establishment, describe the technical components of the new line and propose traction units.
