Abstract:Temeljni namen magistrske naloge je bil preučiti in raziskati, kako glasba vpliva na ljudi, predvsem z vidika športno-rekreativne dejavnosti posameznika. Analizirali smo raziskave s področja povezovanja glasbe in športa, pri čemer smo več pozornosti posvetili optimalnemu tempu glasbene spremljave in ergogenemu učinku glasbe. Dokazovanje fiziološke spremembe, torej v našem primeru bitje srca ob in brez glasbene podlage, smo zavrgli, ker do izmerjenih sprememb ni prišlo.

Title:Ergogenic Effect of Music During Recreation Sports
Abstract:The fundamental purpose of my Master's thesis was to examine and research how music affects people, mainly from the point of view of an individual's recreational sports. In the theoretical part of the Master's thesis we examined the effect that music has on an individual and how an individual responds to it. We analysed the research in the area of integration of music and sport where we paid more attention to optimal tempo of musical accompaniment and the ergogenic effect of music. In the research part of the Master's thesis we conducted a pilot study and we did the experiment in which we included 11 male candidates from 21 to 29 years of age and we did the experiment with which we identified the changes in the heartbeat of the individuals who ran for three kilometres with the music (the candidates of experimental group) or without it (the candidates of control group) and possible differences between them. The evidence of physiological change, in our case the heartbeat with or without music background, was thrown away, because there were no measured changes. We also observed and measured how both two groups detect physical exertion and if the musical accompaniment during recreational sports can reduce the perception of it. In this case we talk about the ergogenic effect which was not proved statistically. However, at the end of the research we noticed that the individuals of experimental group (the ones listening to music) were less tired and had better final results of body endurance.
Keywords:ergogenic effect of music, music and recreational sports, human response to listening to music, musical tempo and heartbeat
