Abstract:Namen diplomskega dela je bil zasnovati, oblikovati in pripraviti učno pot, prilagojeno za predšolske otroke.

Title:On the school trail of kum's blind beetle with preschoolers
Abstract:The aim of this paper was to plan, design and prepare a nature trail adapted to preschool children. In doing so, we wanted children to actively and independently walk the trail and learn, by exploring and observing, about animal and plant species in the vicinity as well as their own surroundings and processes that take place there. The theoretical part of the paper discusses how children learn about the environment, nature and the trail itself by using exploration boxes, children's experiential learning, the connection between nature and other fields of the curriculum and children's play in natural surroundings. The empirical part of the paper provides an insight into the organisation and implementation of activities on the nature trail, separately highlighting different activities on individual stops. We determined that the possibility to actively experience nature through play as well as the possibility to explore and learn about the immediate environment are extremely important for the development of one's relationship with the environment. The implementation of these activities is additionally facilitated by natural characteristics of the kindergarten’s immediate vicinity.
